This one is off to a good start!! Already feeling the conflict

I think the main reason I have been slower at reading this and more distracted is because of my new hyper-fixation rather than this book cause when I do sit down to read it I really enjoy it !

Time to start the re-read of the trilogy ahead of The Last King of Faerie!

This is a lot darker than I was expecting and I am all here for it!!

I do like the dialogue between these two

I mean I go into every book expecting to enjoy it but recent romantasy has been hit or miss with me. So far so good here though :)

Sooo... ok I started reading Heated Rivalry got to around 25-30% and wasn't feeling it. I am not one for lots of spice right from the start when I don't know the characters and there wasn't much good conflict set up. But watched the TV show anyway and while the first 30% were a bit eh still the show did a better job introducing the characters. Then I sped through it!! Now .... well want to see what happens next.

Ok fine I’ll bite let’s see what the hype is about.

I did try the first book first but it was a bit … hmmm 🫤so will jump straight to this one

Reese’s perspective is interesting. Challenging but definitely interesting.
