The Authors note is already rubbing me the wrong way. It never fails when they insert a defensive note about their writing style (that readers most likely criticized past work) the book is going to be a miss. I hope I’m wrong!

Seems like the author missed the opportunity to make this a vampire story.

So…. is Honey an in demand nail tech or does she work at the shelter?… I’m confused?!

A drag to read… this feels like a chore.
