<spoiler> I know that as soon as we get closer to Under the Mountain and our darling Rhys I will definitely change my mind again because Tamlin really doesn't show his best side there but until then I'm happy for them. </spoiler>

Re-reading this I am trying to view this from the same side as back when I read it for the first time and didn't know how it would turn out. I'm actually enjoying that budding romance between Tamlin and Feyre at the moment and that little date on the clearing was very sweet.

At the moment I'm struggling a bit getting into this but I hope that will change because I absolutely love the set-up of an orc - a former mercenary - opening a coffee shop.

I was really excited to delve back into the world of Elfhame but right now I'm really missing Jude's narrative voice. I preferred her scheming and I liked how vulnerable she was and how fierce she had to be to even out her disadvantage. So far I'm not really feeling the same thing with Wren and it's super weird thinking of little Oak as a potential love interest. I hope this will change over the course of the book.

The concept seems fun, but I'm not that happy with the early stages of plot development. I feel like it would have been necessary to actually show some of the first chats because Damien says at the beginning of the date that he liked those. We don't get to see that so this attraction during the first meeting feels a lot more superficial than it could. Also why does Abby's personality have to be "pink" vs. "beige"?
