This is so good so far. I had just started one of the longest stories before I went to 90's night at the brewery with family but it already had me by the lapels. What else could I do but finish reading it with Aliyah blaring in the background? People kept checking if I was okay but no one asked me what I was reading?

I'm 4 hours into this 15 hour long audiobook. I'm a notorious 2x listener, and I'm taking this one at the normal pace. So far, not much has happened: a sister comes to visit, they go to a bath house, eat dinner, she takes her niece to an adjustment park. But I'm savoring every word and really hope no one puts this book on hold before I can renew my library loan.
