Such a good book. The hero's quest with a cranky, reluctant hero.

Middle school books are all about friendships, and this one is showing how brutal that can be.

This book is really well researched historical romance. Good main characters.

Frankly, I am just marking time, for Amelia to get her stuff together. She is getting to be annoying. Hope it gets better soon.

Another view of life in the time of the Little House on the Prairie books. this time, the family are Jews from Ukraine, escaping the horror of the Russian Czar, and the evil done to the Jews there.

Will life be better in the sod dugout, out on the prairies of North Dakota, where the Indigenous people have been removed by force, much the same way that the Czar did to her people.

Amazing story, written by the young journalist, wit the help of an American reporter.

Oh, this is so much fun. I almost don't want it to end.

I am loving this so much, it is going to be so hard to finish it, and leave everyone behind.

Set in the gilded age, this story of an angel and a demon is drawing me in more than I thought it would. It makes me think of my own relatives that had to emigrate in that same time period, and what life they faced.

I'm only on the first few pages, and I'm loving it.

THis book is SOOOOO SLOOWWW. I am thinking of DNF, but I am just the slightly bit curious to see how it all turns out in the end.

But geeze. One moment of mystery, followed by pages and pages and pages of kids just talking and thinking, and wondering.

Just get the heck on with it.

Started off with a bang, so to speak, and has kept up the pace.

I am loving this so much. Think Cinderella but with dragons instead of mice.

Now, I have to read the other books in this universe.

I am loving, loving, loving this book. I both want to finish it as quickly as I can, and want to keep reading it as long as I can. It is that sort of book.

At first I wasn't sure if I wanted to read a book about a boy who wanted to be an adventure seeking pirate, but as I got into the story, I am really enjoying how it mixes western culture, with Korean folklore.

Very sad, very difficult book to get through, because Joey is so angry at the world, and doesn't know why.

Can't say as I have tried to organize a Pride event, and certainly not as a middle schooler.
