literally wrote in my notes for ch.5, "don't piss me off lol" cause Carrick was getting my damn hopes up for Estevan/Alejandro but there wasn't an lgbtq tag on this one. NEVER SHOULD'VE DOUBTED MY GOATED AUTHOR ☝️☝️☝️

Estevan is a very easy character to empathize with. I don't quite understand the reviews that say they couldn't connect with him. I would have understood it if he never stood up, if he never took a risk for what he believed in, but he nearly always does. the one time he couldn't was from pure shock and horror. every time since, he's taken action. I feel for him so completely. esp cause I'm also horrified.

it's a real shame im reading this in the middle of one of the hottest summers ever 💀 the holiday scenes are soo cozy
