Chapter Eighteen Sunday - I need a new book, this is still slow, but it was getting interesting with the reveals, until everything started unrealistically overlapping.

Chapter Fifteen Madeira, off the northwest coast of Africa Twelve years ago - This reads like contemporary literary fiction, not a mystery.

CHAPTER 9 So Much More SKYLAR - I'm telling myself that Grandma is named Carolina. Every time I read this story I get sleepy. The plot is so thin it's nearly nonexistent so it should be a quick read but here I am exhausted by the simple dialogue.

Chapter Eight - We finally have some dead bodies but instead of escalating the plot it has seemed to slow down the story I'm going back to my other book.

Chapter Four - Still slow, but there was some action. I'm going to finish it tomorrow.

Page 29 of 262 Chapter Five Sasha - I really want to get started before the book discussion for book one so I started and now I remember exactly what happened. I think they are giving away too much too soon though so who knows where it's gonna go.

CHAPTER 29 Very Nice CARLY - These chapter titles are getting lazy and the more she interacts with other people the more confused I am. Why would you put paint in a whoopie cushion, what? In book one there were meaningful conversations in this book conversations are fractured like you would expect in a sitcom when extras are talking.

CHAPTER 26 Dad CARLY - I had to reread passages, some were oddly written and some were because it's late so I'm going to give this story my attention tomorrow.

Chapter Three Tuesday, one day before Halloween - Did the author forget this was a mystery, because I sure did? This chapter was meh and if this is the direction this story is heading it's going to be a long while before I finish.

Chapter 14 Hunter - This feels like the same script different cast.

I am blown away by each story and I'm only stopping here because I've gotten behind on annotating books as I had to drive. Now I have some cleaning to do so I need a different audio book that is not require me to think as much.

Page 50 of 312 CHAPTER 6 Two Weeks Ago Sidney - I was expecting a diverse cast cast and we got it. There are 2 Asian main characters, 1 Black 2 White, and one is a lesbian. It opens with a preview of the murder. There are 5 cities and everyone has a reason to kill and be killed so, we're just waiting to discover the reasons and find out the results, I'm assuming the mystery will start in part 2. CHAPTER 25 No Bingo CARLY - Okay now they are getting on my nerves. Hurry up and fix it already. She's not even thinking about the checks. So frustrating.

CHAPTER 22 HHG ALEXANDER - I knew this was going to get super cute! I have been missing this story but I had a lot of library books to knock out and I stupidly got a new one last night. I hope to finish this soon in between the audiobook for book club.

EGYPT WEEK (EID AL-ADHA) - I'm enjoying the book but I do have concerns as the Hidden Figures book in the story doesn't exist with the subtitle used - HIDDEN FIGURES: TRUE STORIES OF AFRICAN AMERICAN WOMEN WHO HELPED LAUNCH SPACE MISSIONS BY MARGOT LEE SHETTERLY, and now she's misspelled Buddha. I'm going to press on, but I think this book might be moving to Monday for completion.

Page 102 of 437 IRELAND WEEK (ST. PATRICK’S DAY, MARCH 17) - I was expecting family meals, not family cooking. I'm not mad at it; this is an interesting concept. I like how she only has 3 recipes per week to allow you more flexibility. The tidbits about culture are a nice edition.

Fifteen Days till Christmas Chapter Six - This is turning out to be cuter than expected. I was not expecting this plot.

Chapter 18 Wednesday, December 12 - And just like that I'm back in it I am enjoying this story I might finish it tonight.

Chapter 16 Monday, December 10 - I was thinking today might be the day I was going to knock out this story, but I have a Santa discussion tonight and I haven't started, hopefully my next session is my last be some of these antics are making it so predictable, and I want to know already.

CHAPTER 20 The Way I See It CARLY - This has gotten a lot better, sort of reminds me of Navy Baby by Debbie Macomber. I only wish they would stop doing stupid stuff the the rest of the story makes up for it.
