So far a load of twaddle

This is slow going. The narrative seems disjointed and the endless words that makes a glossary necessary are annoying.

Finally, Havers has made an appearance, the first 1/3 of this book being taken up with Helen, St. John and the soppy Deborah.

Having a hard time getting into this. Some editing on the sentence structure wouldn’t have gone amiss.
