this book is so great omg

these audiobook narrators are not good i fear. i cannot even fathom the reasoning behind the scratchy, growly, awful voice sage's narrator gives noah aka the other main character and LOVE INTEREST...

almost 3/4ths through and zetian and yizhi aren’t talking, shimin is STILL kidnapped by the gods or whatever, and the plot revolves completely around politics instead of giant robots fighting……… i’m so cooked
