Ok wait.. I just read @kej’s review. You’re telling me, this ridiculous FMC character until about 62% of the book? NOPE! I’m not doing this. DNR it is 😒😒😒

Only 23% in and I REALLY don’t know if I could handle this girl! I’m slowly loosing my eyesight rolling my eyes- lmao. I’m gonna try my best to give it a few more chapters. If not DNR IT IS..

What a struggle it was to read this story. He was rude and childish and she was such a push over. Nope. Not for me 😒 her first two books were great. This one- definitely not so much.

First of all, I made the mistake of purchasing the audio for this book so I could switch as I traveled and during breaks at work (rolling my eyes) I can’t believe I stuck through the narratives voices…
Second, there’s 2more books, yeah, I don’t think so! Eastern Lights was descent in the begging. I crawled to the ending. I was already invested. Why not finish it..

87% in and I’m on my toes. Biting my nail (ok not really, but) Mariana you are good! The suspense of wether they’re getting together or not is killing me. The anticipation is seriously going to kill me!!….

I REALLY disliked the first chapter.. disliked how weak the heroine was already being portrayed. I almost gave up. Three books later, I picked it back up because one of my favorite reviewers LOVED, I MEAN LOVED this book. Its a no brainer I will give it another chance...

I truly DISLIKE reading books defeating woman. I’m only half way to chapter ONE and I already can’t stand it! I’ve been eyeing this book for SOO LONG and I’m so confused at the mixed reviews. I’m going to keep it on my shelf.. maybe come back to it because one of my FAVORITE reviewers gave it a 5star… girl I’m gonna try! But right now. I have to put it down 🤨

Oh my goodness. My first novel by Elon Hilderbrand… there were so many mixed reviews, but I’m such a hopeless romantic and a sucker for anything with a nautical theme cover I just HAD to read it. Oh my heart. I LOVED this story. I can not wait to read a more popular book of Mrs. Hilderbrand. I can’t even imagine it.

I was extremely curious about the book. I mean, its L.J. Shein!
Although I've seen the 1 to 2 stars review, I figured heck why not? It cant be THAT bad. BUT 10% in, and I cant. I don't want to continue anymore. After reviewing some of the spoilers, nothing changes. it doesn't get better? I cant imagine 80% of the readers are wrong. SO ill pass on this one..

I had to stop myself for a moment, well for the billionth time during a few chapters to be honest. What the heck? I'm so confused whether I want to finish this book or not! Unfortunately, I have already committed 90% of the book. skipping some pages because part two was unnecessary to spread into so many chapters. I'm trying my best to connect with these characters but, blah!!

(middle of chapter 8) OMG narrator has the most annoying voice ever!! (audible)
OR maybe its the heroines story. So far she's freaking annoying. clingy. ugh.. I wont give up yet (smacking my forehead)

WOW! mmm damn!

I am a little more than half way through.. I am enjoying the story very much, BUT I can not get over the male narrators voice. ugh!

It is extremely convenient to listen at while I'm at work instead of reading the short story and find myself constantly rolling my eyes at how much I dislike Mr. David Gunn's voice. I definitely will not be listening to another book with him....

This Spanish version is terrible. Can’t continue it at all.

I am extremely grateful for coming across this book. I have since joined the authors FB page and will be eternally grateful for the support and the wonderful stories, and sad ones of other readers mothers passing. It’s comforting to share the love of ones mother. Reading that you’re not alone.. It’s taking me a long time to pick up the book more often. But it’s ok. Everything will be ok
