Flat out refusing to help your sister take care of your ailing father whom you are supposed to be close with just because you just started a family is wild and a stark reminder on how different eastern and western culture are. If it was here, even if you had just started a family, even your spouse would be understanding and try to help even in the smallest things and at least try to ease the burden on your sister.

I had to check the publishing year real quick. It was published in 2022 but why are the young adults in this book talking like they are in the 2000s? Nobody says “rad” anymore unless you are probably born in the 90s or something. 😬
