That was the lamest "twist" I've ever read.

Two things that frustrate me with this human heroine.

1. Allowing herself to get emotionally invested in a hot guy with a strange case of teen stroppiness.
2. Not listening to common sense when sound advice is given. If a Police escort asks you to phone from inside a car because the house is compromised, listen. If the same Police escort says it's too dangerous to investigate without extra hands, listen.

And this is where I wanna FacePalm. So much potential to crank it up but it then falls to anti-climatic

Heroine has some moxy, so that's a bonus. Just hope this bully romance doesn't become too one dimensional.

Is it possible to beat someone with a stupid stick? Cos this heroine is doing my head in.

I'm half a second from eye rolling or facepalming. If I do I know there's gonna be some permanent damage. Unfortunately neither of these injuries are covered by my medical insurance. What to do, what to do.

And the heroines friend. What an idiot.

Great. The heroine is TSTL. For once I wished she would just listen.

The heroine suffers from Stockholm and suffers from an insatiable need to be humiliated & owned by her lover. The hero wants to gain control of his life thru patricide and buying sole rights to his lover. The friends are just narrow minded. I'm struggling to not throw my precious e-reader against the wall

I may forget the names of the characters but I don't think I'm going to forget the characters. The Kingmaker may very well be my anchor & the one I will measure many against. Definitely my favorite January 2020 book thus far.

I'm salivating. Not because Bastiano. I'm floating on a different stratosphere because of his R-Rated scenes. I'm salivating because they're eating flaxseed waffles with chocolate chips and strawberries. Need to get some the ingredients!
