Ugh, so behind on my reading challenge! I wish I could count Wattpad stories, cuz then I'd be gold. My writing is really starting to get in the way of my reading...

Ugh, I have got to get back onto this reading challenge. I've gotten terribly distracted with writing and Wattpad. But Caraval and Stalking Jack the Ripper have got me hooked, so maybe I'll start getting ahead!

Why is there even a question as to who she should go for? Dietrich is ROMANCING her. He's classy and romantic. Clearly, he's the superior love interest. Also, I'm not very fond of the protagonist. She doesn't have many redeemable qualities, and I'm not sure why these guys like her so much.

Why are some authors so reliant on love triangles??? Give me more plot and less romance!

Ohmyword, I'm getting irritated with her continually doubting Montgomery's affection. Your father said he's been in love with you forever, and he just kisses you madly. Why are you so whiny???

I think I should read the book this is based off of. I'm craving mad science.

I sort of like/hate this book. I have a penchant for mad scientists, and while there's a little bit of surgical/medical talk/action, the love triangle is a little vexing. I was hoping for a heroine with more interest in her father's secrets than the "painfully handsome" young men in her life.

Will 2017 be the year that I finish Les Mis? Maybe!
(Probably not).
