Ohmyword, I'm getting irritated with her continually doubting Montgomery's affection. Your father said he's been in love with you forever, and he just kisses you madly. Why are you so whiny???

I sort of like/hate this book. I have a penchant for mad scientists, and while there's a little bit of surgical/medical talk/action, the love triangle is a little vexing. I was hoping for a heroine with more interest in her father's secrets than the "painfully handsome" young men in her life.
