For some reason this version does not appear in normal search here in Goodreads. Nonetheless I found it when I tried with ISBN.

As Laura becomes a teenager, the childlike perspective of the world is fading away in the later books. It still is a good read, but perhaps not as appealing as the first three.

Good start to the 4th book in the series.

Just read the first chapter. I started reading the shorter Sheba Prokashoni Bangla translation, and got interested to read this, the most popular one of the series, in the original version. Glad I have found it in my local library.

Most stories are rather interesting, but I realized for the first time that some stories by Jeffrey Archer do not have a twist at the end. I thought Caste Off was rather dull.

Looking forward to the reading the rest.

Having read only one book of short stories written by Archer (A Quiver full of Arrows) before, I am finding these stories quite new and fascinating. The first five stories like a breeze. Archer can confuse you, prime you for the eventual twist, and deliver it in a golden platter.

Also quite an unique experience of reading an illustrated book that's not for kids.

This is progressing pretty fast, considering my slow reading speed. Nice first person narrative. Very refreshing. Peeking inside the dark corridors of a very disturbed mind.

This one is out of print, and as per King - a good thing. Now, I am reading a collected copy in my Kindle.

Just started right after finishing The Shining. The story continues. A new concept of vampire like entities has been introduced. Let's see where it takes me.

Reading a paperback copy from Knox library. Fine printing, comfortable paper.

Nearly halfway there, and it has been built very well so far. Unlike the movie, this is creating the horror in the psychology of the characters instead of through action and visual gore.

Finally started this masterpiece. It’s already so dark. Eagerly looking forward to reading the whole book.

I picked up this book last week from WM Library Vermont South. I have just finished 2 of the 12 stories in the book. Started with "Broken Routine", which I consider to be one of the best short stories ever written! I have read this story before, but rereading it made me feel the pleasure of experiencing the finest form of storytelling, a surprise last line twist! Also, read The Luncheon - a fine story itself.

বইয়ে দু'টো উপন্যাসিকার প্রথমটা পড়লাম। বেশ ভালো লাগলো। প্রবাসে বাংলা পড়ার সুযোগ কম। আর বেছে পড়ার সুযোগ তো আরো কম। তাই স্থানীয় পাঠাগারে এই বইটি পেয়ে খুশি হলাম। লেখকের অন্যান্য বই পড়ার আগ্রহ পাচ্ছি।

In Book 4 now. Pretty immersive. I am feeling pain to stay away from this book.

হিটলারের ব্যক্তিগত জীবনে ডুব দিয়েছেন মুজতবা। হিটলারের রোমান্টিক জীবনের দারুণ দারুণ সব "ইনসাইটস" বের করেছেন লেখক ইতিহাস ঘেঁটে। ইদানিং হিটলারকে নিয়ে পড়ছি। এই বইটি দারুণ সংযোজন মনে হচ্ছে। তবে উপভোগ্য হলেও খুব সহজপাঠ্য নয় বটে।

মাঝ সাগরের সারেং আর মুশকিলের সাগরে ভেসে থাকার চেষ্টায় রত তার সতী বউ। দু'টো অভিযান চলছে সমান্তরালে।
