omg you guys, Victor is such a garbage man. i don't remember exactly how i felt about him when i was reading Frankenstein for the first time in my teens, but i probably wouldn't have forgotten the irritation i feel NOW. whaaaaat an egomaniac.

absolute massacre of Aliena's character imo. almost every single female character here is pathetic, actually. their only goal in life seems to be to serve men. the only woman who seemed to pursue her own agenda was the villain - smart, powerful, in control. the good ones are all practically servants. ridiculous.

i won't finish it this year, i fear D:

i hate to admit it, but i'm not having fun. maybe it's just the wrong time for this book and i. maybe i need to be more focused to keep up with everything that's going on here. but... i'm definitely not having fun with Carl and Donut and everyone anymore :(
