Oh my god I saw this plot twist coming from a mile away and the reaction to it was terrible.

Why is this book still not over? You’ve got everything you wanted 50 page ago. There is no need for a fourth trip to hell.

The magic apparently really has no rules whatsoever and it’s making me confused. Also, why are there a million demons everywhere and why do they have to look like other characters, o don’t understand what’s going on.

So this kid is fine with going to Hell for a little bit of money?? And we’re doing vampires now?

The pacing is just not it

So we can all agree that Levi is either the most stupid man on Earth or simply an ass, right?

The pace is so slow

There are just so many random side infos. I don’t care all that much if the bridegroom actually killed his fiancée or not, just get to the point.

No one can convince me the rebels are not the bad ones in this story. And how about Kiva just has a real deep talk with Jaren, they get married and whoopdeedoo, the reason for the rebels ceases to exist. Everyone’s happy.

It’s giving „The Cullen‘s take Bella to baseball“-vibes.

I still don’t know what the point of this story is. But I do know that too many words are used to tell it.

I have no idea what’s going on.

This book is so clearly written by a man. And also I think he has never kept a diary in his life. Does he have any idea how long it takes to write things by hand?

Also, I feel so robbed because we don’t get to see the relationship between Raoden and Sarene. They would’ve have been amazing together. (They’ll probably meet later in the book, but seeing that Raoden is dead, I don’t see their marriage to be actually a thing.)

I really see why people say to not read this book first. I’m struggling so much to concentrate. And I don’t understand why exactly. I am technically enjoying it, there’s just something in the writing that is failing to pull me in.

Maybe it’s because I’m reading this book mostly on the train, but I find it a little hard to get into this. I like all the characters and the world seems really cool, but the world building itself is not as great and effortless as I’m used to with Sanderson‘s books.

I don’t know what’s going on. All the characters are the same. Switching POVs in the middle of a sentence is not helping it.

I we could please not switch between POVs in the middle of a paragraph (or maybe even a sentence?), that would really help my understanding of what is going on. So far I’m not a fan

I don’t really get why the time travel is necessary.

Why do they call themselves the Liars though??

I‘m a little confused about all the blood. Are these supposed to be metaphors or did her father actually shoot her and is she cutting herself when she thinks about her grandma?
The migraines are very metaphorical, so maybe she is just very hurt by it, but no actual blood is leaving her body?

What a surprise that the evil guy is not quite as easy to blow up.
