I am not loving this tbh :/

I was reading this and wanted to keep reading but had to go to work, so I switched to the audiobook, and I can't stand the cadence of the narrator's voice. She reads like the text is a limerick (which it is not) and it's all I can think about. I'll read the rest in physical form.

Can I just say, I've read a decent amount of Didion at this point, and I think she is overrated. She's an excellent writer, but it's pretty pretentious, and reeks of Republican values, honestly.
