Fantastic second book. The world-building part alone raises it into a 5/5 score status. Detailed descriptions of scenes the characters are in. Proper distance units, speeds, structures with distinctive features. Every chapter and sub-chapter has it. Easily keeps engaged in the story. No compromises in the middle of the book too. There's an adventure part too, 2nd or third at this point. Reached a character limit :(

This is about advanced civilization meeting other, primitive one. Most of the book is conversations. S-f about it is mildly interesting.

This is nothing special. Meant to be character driven but characters aren't interesting or their motivations are hard to follow due to constant POV switching.

Rather standard, nothing special story. Standard city living, robbers and policing.
