Loved the chapters on Black Art Movement and Feminist Art, particularly the focus on Elizabeth Catlett and Faith Ringgold… have to do more reading on those two because their work is just!!!!!!!!

emotional and messy and good so far / i’ve been wanting to start some kind of journal for reading (just to take notes or write down thoughts to be more present and comprehend better) and as soon as i opened this book, i knew i had to start it.. that’s the kind of romance book this is <3
