A bit sloggy.

A 4 hour audio novella. The story has 11 year old Lucy who has been turned into an unknown vampire. The group works to find the perpetrator and to assist Lucy as painless as a transition as possible.

I wonder if the narrator is using her inner Joe Pesci to narrate for the part of Pete Marino?

A good book to listen to whilst doing yard work.

I like it.

I like the book but it is getting a bit repetitive. I remember my parents’ stories of vacationing in the American south and the Jim Crow laws. Even though I grew up in southern Indiana in the 70’s, my family didn’t treat nor hold with the idea of caste system.

Favorite quote so far: returned to Mount Turd. 😆 I’m m already loving this book.

Good book so far but the length of it is daunting.

I listened to audio version which made the book go faster. I found some it interesting and some tedious. I knew the press was relentless but I cannot imagine living my life in a literal fishbowl. No wonder they left the UK

In addition to reading the ebook now I’ve checked out the audio to make it go faster. It’s a bit tedious.

What purpose is Skip’s arrest? It seems like extraneous drama.
