James is on page 98 of 448 of Three Icelandic Outlaw Sagas: The Saga of Gisli/the Saga of Grettir/the Saga of Hord
Finished the first Saga, Gisli's. Too many characters that didn't add much, total of 12 in the opening chapter. And 80% of characters in this saga are called Thor-something, often called the same name with not much distinction. Along with locations being called Thor-something too. Made for a confusing read at times.
Pretty okay though.
2.5/5? Maybe a 2 because of all the Thors.

Onto Grettir's Saga.

For the Honour of the Gods - Again, another solid story. About how 'glory' for the gods equals the end of peace and harmony. Short, simple, sweet. 7/10.
Worried that Dunsany will pull the rug out from under me if I start expecting the stories to be good now.

Great Name(s) in this: No names in this.

The Men of Yarnith - Shocked that this is good. Have not been enjoying the stories so far. The proseth beath oldith. The first time that old-timey prose actually worked in favour for one of the stories. Which is a simple story of Men finding their prayers have fallen on deaf ears on their God, Yarni Zai, instead of giving up, they become their own Gods. 7/10.

Great Name(s) in this: Hothrun Dath.

Polaris - is a decent, but very brief story about a nameless narrator talking about a city they only see when they dream. It could easily be fleshed out a bit more, but it just feels like a nice idea that was rushed. 5/10.
