I love full descriptions of what I’m reading about, how a person looks, how the room looks, etc. However, there comes a point where you just need to get to the point of the interactions. But sometimes the descriptions stretch the scene out too far.

Chapter 4

This book reads as if the author, Marina Finlay, was sitting in a park while she wrote. Her writing makes you feel like you're sitting there with her, seeing what she sees as she writes. Very imaginative!

Not what I expected. But still reading.
