I just finished Americanah (Ala Notable Books for Adults) and gave it 4 stars. Wonderful of the power and really stamina of true love and a marvelous treatise of the importance of how culture shapes the way we see the world.

I just finished Citizens Creek: A Novel and gave it 5 stars. Excellent historical novel of the life of Tom Cow, a mixed race Creek who served as an interpreter during the Seminole wars and the Civil War. An amazing family saga based on real events.
