Already this is different from the first book (Corrupt).

This book is entirely consuming me. The amount of 'omg' notes I've left in the last 100 pages. It's shifted it to a favourite book. I'm SO glad I switched to the eBook. Entirely different reading experience!

Now I'm getting The Woman in Black vibes! I truly wonder where this is going.

I'm actually loving Rika's growth. The four horseman are breaking her down, but she's refusing to stay down. The tension between her and Michael is PALPABLE. He's losing control over the horseman's revenge. Many things are happening and I forgot how this ends.

I restarted this on eBook and enjoying it so much more, and not losing track of what's happening. There's a lot of tension building with Michael and Rika and I just want to get into it.

I really enjoy a British neutral narrator and this is exactly that. It's giving very Haunting of Hill House vibes.

I synced my audio with the eBook when I read this last time around and so I *think* I'm 27% of the way through but I could easily be not this far through. Trying to look (or listen) past the narrators as I don't really like them and find them distracting.

This is so Housemaid (1st book) x Verity coded.

I really don't want to pick this up so it's making it hard for me to commit time towards it. I just don't like the characters.

This is awfully similar to the first Housemaid book. At any moment, I'm waiting for the twist. Or have I been twisted already?!

I didn't realise this would be identical to the Salacious Players Club series by Sara Cate that I JUST READ. Except the writing in this is insufferable. I already wanna DNF 30 pages in.

They've known each other for like 2 months (?) and suddenly they're in love?! Emerson said 'I fucking love you' twice during sex and no one acknowledged it?! I am confusion.

It's starting to pick up.

This feels quite juvenile, even from the perspective of a 21 year old. I want more from this!

I still don't get why we've had SO much build up and connection with Jake and Noah, only for Tiernan's eye to turn to Kaleb in the last second. I support feeding your dark side but damn, girl.

Hearing someone sectioned from the perspective of that person being sectioned and what they believe to be happening is... uncomfortable but also so so interesting.

Oh they're snowed in now! It's about to pop off.

Hannah's writing is so lovely considering what she's talking about. The narration brings it alive too hearing her retell her story.

Pen knows how to write a good book... a TOTALLY FUCKED book, but I can't stop reading, so a good book.

Oh it's getting JUICY.

A lot of this I've forgotten about so it's like I'm reading it again from fresh.

You know you're losing the plot when you listen to the same chapter twice without realising. I hate this narrator.

How am I still not done with this audiobook yet?! It's dragging on so bad!
