This is awfully similar to the first Housemaid book. At any moment, I'm waiting for the twist. Or have I been twisted already?!

I didn't realise this would be identical to the Salacious Players Club series by Sara Cate that I JUST READ. Except the writing in this is insufferable. I already wanna DNF 30 pages in.

This feels quite juvenile, even from the perspective of a 21 year old. I want more from this!

Hearing someone sectioned from the perspective of that person being sectioned and what they believe to be happening is... uncomfortable but also so so interesting.

Hannah's writing is so lovely considering what she's talking about. The narration brings it alive too hearing her retell her story.

Pen knows how to write a good book... a TOTALLY FUCKED book, but I can't stop reading, so a good book.

You know you're losing the plot when you listen to the same chapter twice without realising. I hate this narrator.

How am I still not done with this audiobook yet?! It's dragging on so bad!

Slow progress since I've been away but happy to be back in this world again with a different perspective.

This book doesn't have enough GRUNT to keep me racing through the pages. That's deffo what's missing.

It's definitely a narrator issue with this audiobook. It's SO hard to tell who is talking, considering there are literally only two characters. Dual narration or distinction between them would've been best.

It's finally picking up the pace but it's not an effortless read like I've had recently.

It's quite slow paced with not enough urgency. Finding it hard to pick this up and make a dent.

I just love this book so much, I'm so glad to be back with Jordan and Pike.
