Omg okay maybe it won't all end in tears.

Leigh Rivers 1 - 0 me. I've cried so many times at various stages of this book already. I'm broken and just want all my faves to be okay.

I am constantly tense wondering when the next thing to go wrong is. Daym, Kade really is his farher's son tho.

I want to skip to the end to make sure everything works out okay, I can't bear this.

I have been in STREAMS OF TEARS at this book already. If I thought book one would destroy me, I wasn't ready for book two. Trying to read it quickly so I can find out of my children are okay at the end but let's face it... unlikely.

This is already really rough, but I love seeing how Stacey is willing to fight for Kade. They're *healing*.

There's an eerie feeling already...

I stayed up until 3am on a school night (and forced! myself to put it down or I would've been there all night).... I fear this book is changing my brain chemistry.

I am in a chokehold.

This is a slog.

V slow but starting to pick up the pace. I don't really care for any of these characters, honestly and the storyline is fairly bland.

This is starting to pick up now. Barrett is spicy.

Starting to enjoy this now but the MMC is too much of a cinnamon roll for me ha.

I'll likely finish this because I want to see where the characters end up but I didn't anticipate reading about looking after a child the whole time.

Whilst this is nice, there's not enough urgency to the characters. They feel a bit flat which is slightly disappointing. I hope it improves.

This was initially a bit slow so I swapped out for another book that entirely consumed me so I'll likely hold off picking this up for a moment.

I'm still in mourning from the last book I read so this feels slow but I'm enjoying it so far.

I can NOT get enough of this. The banter and taunting between the MCs is so good and the spice is impeccable. New fave book already!

I love Paisley Hope's writing, it's just so easy to read.

I'm enjoying this, but I feel like it's moving too quickly. I want to sit in the moment with the characters more. That being said, I LOVE McCurdy's writing, it's so abrupt and real.

Struggling with the audiobook so DNFing / putting it down but will likely return.

I definitely need to read a summary of each chapter to make sure I'm not missing anything.

Since 70%, the book has some urgency, the stakes have been raised and I'm flying through it. Just a shame the middle dragged on for some time.

This book feels 100 pages too long.
