I have never regularly read many short stories in any genre. No time like the present to start.

This is great so far.

Wanted to like this, but I just could not care less about the characters in this book. Sadly, abandoning.

Re-reading this since the first time since freshman year, and while I can't say I *love* it, I can say I'm thoroughly embarrassed by how tritely I dismissed it as an eighteen year old.

Rarely would I call an academic text "compulsively readable" but so far this one definitely is.

First few chapters are a little remedial if you're already familiar with the basics of bike culture and Chicanx history in California, and maybe a bit over-personal? But overall a good read so far; excited to see where it goes substantively in the second half of the book.

Dense tract, but fascinating to get a view of this period from a Mexican scholar/perspective.

Pretty much hate-reading at this point. So much promise, such a grating style.

Enjoying, and learning a lot from, this so far. Seems like a worthwhile read for any resident of the southwest.

Several friends have recommended this; finally giving it a shot. Slow going but good for me.

And now Jung. Oy.

There are some interesting and helpful case studies presented here, with an unfortunate side helping of quasi-Freudianism.

Really thoroughly enjoying this so far. Reminds me a bit of Dick.
