My brain feels like exploding in the best way possible

I started this out of nowhere, and just kept turning pages in my quest for a new love. I am enjoying Siroun’s story SO much!

OMG! This is fantastic

Plot twists galore!

It’s probably easier to read than the other two trilogies in this world

My heart has so many emotions built up that I don’t know whether to be sad or happy

Definitely glad that I requested an arc of this! It’s brilliant, beautiful, frightening, and by far one of my favorite reads of 2020. Readers will have no idea of what they are in for, and that’s a good thing.

And the suspense of what happens next has me intrigued

I like how this story is told not from a distant outside POV, but rather from the POV of the “evil” sorceress. It twists the tale into a “what if” the evil sorceress was misunderstood. It removes traditional roles from the picture, and allows for more freedom in a royal line of succession, and it’s brilliantly done.

This is definitely an interesting Sleeping Beauty retelling, and I like how it’s told from the point of view of the sorceress, rather than from a third person limited outside point of view that makes it feel distant. Instead, we get the sense that Alyce is more than what she is seen as at a first glance. I like her.

366 pages in, and I’m feeling so many emotions that it’s hard to categorize any of them properly

This is better than Wicked Fox, and I don’t always say that about sequels/companions

Definitely not just a story, but an experience

This hooked me from the first chapter!

Can I just say that this book is something else? The intricacies of Court are terrifying. Poor Mary. All she wanted was simplicity.

I just finished Time of the Twins. Now on to War of the Twins.

This book was well worth checking out from my library. It's emotional, touching, and puts me in a spot where I can better understand what I don't know.
