It's poetically written which is interesting but I find it hard to find a natural stopping point without any chapters. And sometimes it feels like the translation is clashing with the sentiment, but the two languages and culture are very different to I suppose it would makes sense that some things gets weird when translated.

I feel like this book is very american in the sense of "spoiling" things that will happen later which i am not really a fan of. Besides that im still enjoying the read

It's going slow, took a long break at the halfway point which was a mistake, now I'm not invested in the characters and barely remember who's who.

I'm already planning to reread this book, maybe annotate it, write down my favorite quote and the thoughts I want/need to sit with for a bit

Been wanting to read this for a while but haven't had the space untill now, so far (with the foreword, prologue and beginning of the book) I am fairly optimistic
