I'm 6 hours in with 9 hours to go and I'm already wondering what more could she truly have to say and I'm not even half done. I get what she's trying to do and it's good prose, but I'm unfortunately losing interest cause the whole point is "I'm more than just a victim or someone's girlfriend, know me for me" but we've been doing that for a few hours now and we're beating a dead horse at this point.

This is already looking to be better than The Inheritance Games.

Dnf'd at about 64%. This just wasn't for me. I found the beginning to be intriguing, but the longer it went on, the less I cared. To me, this read very much like a short story that got to be too long. It had scenarios where you need to care about the characters for it be impactful, but it's not long enough to develop those connections. I only had about 2 hours left but just couldn't bring myself to continue.

Ugh, I hate it when the FMC is the ONLY thing causing conflict, and for no reason to boot 🙄
