Okay, this book fully pulled me in immediately, which hasn't actually happened (to this extent) in a while. Really enjoying it so far!

FINALLY, a Barbara Stanwyck book biography that (thus far) doesn't make me want to scream! Very happy!

Almost finished now and REALLY into the story at this point. At first, I couldn't really jump into the story, but I stuck with it because I adore Leigh Bardugo's stories. But a little before halfway through, I fully became invested!

Shadow and Bone is still one of my favorite series and I adore Leigh Bardugo's writing. I've been wanting to read this book since I first heard about it and finally picked it up from my bookstore during the holidays.

So far, I'm THRILLED with the dark ivy league fantasy drama vibes! Here for it!

Love reading Sarah J Maas books -- and really loving this one so far!

Zoomed through the first 93 pages of this book -- and so far I'm loving it! Very easy to fall right into and become interested in!

I wouldn't be surprised if this book ended up on my "Absolute Favorites" list. IT'S THAT GOOD.

How have I JUST discovered this book? It is SO good and I'm only on page 36. Hopefully it stays amazing.

I've always admired Cleopatra, and I'm SO excited to read this.

Surprisingly, it's taking me a while to get into this book. It's picking up a bit now, though! I'm a huge Richelle Mead fan, and I've never had any problem picking up her books and immediately falling in love with them. Here's to hoping I fall in love with this one!

Even more hooked on this interpretation of the Borgias than before.

Already hate Juan Borgia. Every historical fiction interpretation of the Borgias that I read, Juan is such an insufferable character. But, historically speaking, all accounts point to the real Juan Borgia of being horrible. I'm liking the book so far, thank goodness. I've been waiting for a good Borgia book with substance for so long!
