i’m embarassed by the quality and quantity of books i have read this year . And shocked . like what is the list . the only standout is Mistborn and then a bunch of books that were unmemorable and that i don’t like.

i’m going to finish this book because i’m so close to the end but i want y’all to know this is not getting ANYWHERE above a 2.5 ⭐️ rating, if your arch nemesis is an EVIL PUPPET . Just end it all right there.

okay this book is pure filth, now that that’s out of the way i hate when my FILTH books drop the plot off 100 pages ago so the main characters can smash, and then pick it back up again when i no longer care.LIKE WHAT IS ALL THIS PLOT IN THE LAST 50 PAGES OF MY FILTH BOOK.I don’t remember nor do i give a flying fudge muffin.

i’m not dumb , i’m FULLY AWARE that this has to be the most jarring book cover to grace earth i mean i put off reading this even though i knew it would hit based purely off how crazy the cover is .That being said, this is a WORK OF ART, THIS BOOK EATS !!!

this books a banger but it needs to start RAMPING UP or i’m going snoozeville like kill someone off or something idk but RAMP IT UP

trying to get back into this one , i’m shocked at how easily i just leave the book off on intense moments or key plot points and then close the book. i restarted it and was in the midst of DRAMA.I stepped away from this book for the past month or so as life has been chaotic and im still loving it just wish it would start HITTING.

here’s my tea on this book, they need to WRAP IT UP, there was sooo much unnecessary set up and little execution of the PLOT

FINALLY! a twist , I was getting worried this book was just going to be two siblings hating each other and organizing their parents stuff. lol . now we are getting somewhere

it’s so funny, i have read so many fantasy books , but reading this one made me realize how many of the authors must have drawn a bunch of inspiration from Mistborn. It feels like i have read this book before in different fonts .

it’s like i get to relive the show 😭, man i loved this show
