Interesting so far. It started of infuriatingly but has now developed into sort of a dystopian pseudo sci-fi novel. The dystopian elements are genuinely creepy, especially if you’re a parent, and the recently introduced sci-fi element is equally creepy but in a very different way. I look forward to seeing how this novel develops.

That’s book three of the tetralogy finished. Sword of the Lichtor was and interesting ride. I can’t wait to see how Sevarian’s tale finishes out.
On to Citadel of the Autarch.

After finishing chapter 31, I can only say that the audience attending that performance of Hamlet would have done well at attending the Rocky Horror Picture Show at a late night showing. Suffice to say it was very amusing!

DNF'd this one after three chapters. The main character was insufferable. I love cats as much as the next person, but it felt very preachy to be constantly told that cats are just as good as people every other paragraph.

I’ve finished the first half of this bind up, Shadow of the Torturer, and I have to say that I’m both intrigued and confounded in almost equal amounts. Sevarian is an interesting character who I’m honestly not sure if I do, or should, trust. Now I just need to find the time to finish the second half, Claw of the Conciliator, and then I’m certain I’ll be even more confused and interested.
