i like this but there are just too many characters there are TOO many characters

this book is often silly bordering on stupid even and yet i cant let go bc of the weird traditional v liberal old v new theme which is something THAT I CANT STOP THINKING ABOUT

dnf-ing this, nothing wrong with it but it has that hazy melancholy nostalgic (etc) tone many novels about childhood have that i can never stomach.

i like this book but the cover is AWFUL TERRIBLE

ok this is not what i expected with the first genre being "horror" so far i don't think so, it's more like that weird mirror episode of rugrats. i still like it though

uhhh idiotically didn't realize part 2 changes perspective... (still told in first person) and i read this all from the first part's female's perspective only to JUST NOW find out this whole chapter has been about a MAN how did i mess this up big time...
