I can't finish this book, even though it's short. The only thing drawing the couple towards romance is looks. The guy's wife recently left him and he's already looking for a replacement. And he just instantly fell in love with the kids on sight. It's just to unrealistic.

So far I'm not impressed with this book and in fact I'm really annoyed at it. It keeps referencing some secret that's would explain everything but the reader doesn't know the secret. Withholding this information is not making the story suspenseful but rather very confusing and frustrating. I'm not sure I'll finish but I'll try.

I had a feeling this book would be problematic & I was not wrong. So far the love interest Luca has:
- withheld feedback on HW cuz he likes his student Anna
- violated FERPA by looking up Anna's transcript for personal reasons
- kissed Anna without her consent
- ignored Anna's attempts to avoid him by refusing to accept her withdrawal from the course
- stalked her workplace to force her to continue to attend class

As I read through the chapter on transportation, I can't help but wonder how the increase in had prices right now have changed the calculations for EV vehicles. Do they come out cheaper than gasoline right now?

Almost didn't buy this - book 1 was just ok. However, book 2 is so far quite good.

I wish books came with a warning when they have a christian message and insert religious scripture into the story.

Steph is on page 8 of 288 of The Improbability Principle: Why Coincidences, Miracles, and Rare Events Happen Every Day
8 pages in and I've noticed the author keeps using "so-called" inappropriately, and just had a footnote explaining what a typewriter is.
