it's a vampire story but i am incredibly bored and the audiobook narrators sound so monotone that theyre not helping 😭

I am so not in the mood for this that I have been on a week long reading slump. I feel so bored despite everything feeling like it is over the top/ridiculous. I have tried searching the tags to see if it is supposed to be satire, but I didn't see anything 💀 and i was so excited to read this too 😭

The lips smacking of the audiobook narrator is slowly driving me insane 🫠

I still can't feel these characters ageing, like they still feel the same as when they were 18 and didn't feel like they were above 40 💀

50% and im still waiting for when will this world building and this bland attempt at court intrigue going to end and for some semblance of fantasy beyond telling and actually showing us going to start? This book is almost 500 pages and we still just blabbering that i stopped paying attention to who's who beyond for the two main characters. Its just constant repetitive dialogue after another.

I am loving this book so much and I hope it continues to do so 😭😊💙

Why is the UK and US versions different???? My physical copy is UK and Pip is interviewing the brother on 2017 while the US audiobook is on 2019??? I didnt even know until I started reading it physical while listening to the audiobook, there are some differences in wordings and Im just wondering why did they bother to use different words but same meaning????
