Interesting book set in wartorn Africa, the main character has hooked up with so many African women at this point I'm wondering if he has AIDS.

Apparently simps have always been a thing. Ill give Martin a pass because he didnt have the full picture. Every man can sympathize with the he is enamored by the elegant beautiful and rich Ruth, and every man older than 25 cringes at his be ding over backwards for this chick who sees him as a hobby. The story breaks my heart as it seems to be semi autobiographical and London ended up dying at 40 from alcoholism.

Im well passed half way through this book and I still have no idea what the fuck is going on and Im struggling to care.
