Already cringing reading this book, even though it was so promising at the start 😭 why the author made the choices she made, idk. Making the FMC work as a manager at an expensive retail store is not interesting; having the MMC be the security guard is strange (bc in 2025, almost 2026, who gives af about people stealing from corporations?!); and this is AI propaganda 🥲🙄

Forgot to mention: the male friendships are also top-tier

Something that Kleypas does that I really like is how realistic and lovely the female friendships are in these books. They're so invested in each other, and love to chat and hang out. It it such a nice balance of love interest and friends
