I'm in Hong Kong promoting my latest book The Heavenly Sword! Tomorrow evening (July 7, from 6 to 7 pm) I'll be present at a book signing event (along with another author Jane Lo) hosted by Bookazine, the largest indie bookstore chain in Hong Kong. The event will take place at the Prince's Building branch.

Finished Vol. 1, 2 & 3. Will continue with Vol. 4 when I'm back from Hong Kong.

Hi! On January 26 I had the honor and pleasure of chatting with a bunch of distinguished writers at the 2023 TBRCon (Wuxia & Xianxia & Asian-Inspired Fantasy Author Panel). Participating Panelists were: Nghi Vo, Wesley Chu, Amelie Wen Zhao, Tao Wong and myself. It was an invigorating discussion that points to a developing trend of greater interest in the genre. I'm pleased to announce that a HARDCOVER version of "The Heavenly Sword" is now available to preorder on Amazon US (finally) and other international Amazon sites, in addition to the Paperback and Kindle versions. The release date is: January 10, 2023.

This is a re-reading for me (I had first read the whole standalone novel in Chinese in my childhood). For the current reading, I've finished Vol. 1 and 2. Going onto Vol. 3 and 4.

The action scenes are reminiscent of Indiana Jones movies!

I'm reading the Chinese original of the book.

I'm reading this and remaining volumes of Legend of Condor Heroes in Chinese, as I want to savor Jin Yong's stylish writing. The latest HK Editions (in traditional Chinese) happen to match the four volumes in English translation.
