Also, I've been thinking about it, and I think the reason this book is so weirdly relaxing is because it reads like a girl's day in the life vlog. He's got that totally dissociated influencer cadence going on. Like, "Hey guys, welcome back to my channel. Come with me while I try to create water and not blow up the Hab."

There's A LOT happening right now. 😵‍💫 And don't get me wrong, the underwater dragon world is cool and all...but tbh I miss Takkan. 😔

I already love the dramatic setting change. From Asian palaces in the snow and red and gold everywhere in the first book, to now having bright, oceanic colors everywhere and all the sea life. Loving this new vibe. 🐉🐚🌊🪼🐳🦪 Also, being a Haku from Spirited Away girlie, I'm happy we get more Seryu in this book 🥹🫶
