Why is Islington adding MORE LORE to the story right at the end of the trilogy, jesus bra, let's wrap up the existing story... this book is starting to irritate the shit out of me.

Yeah, I don't think I am the target audience for this... it feels manipulatively written for semi-intellectual, middle-aged woman regretting not having children or something. Also the metaphor of the WILD< DARK< SHORE is becoming a bit tedious.

Mmmmmm... This engaging and I *am* enjoying it, but it feels like a budget version of every David Mitchell I have ever read. A little bummed to be perfectly honest.

That said, even though I am loving the story itself, I feel our friend Nick here is just showing off... weird, archaic words even Google dictionary is struggling to help me with has become the norm and most of the time it serves no purpose other than slowing me down.
