“‘Ivy.’ He whispers my name under his breath like he’s been longing for his mouth to taste it.”

So if I don’t finish this before my library loan expires, I won’t bother. So far every recipe is “improved” by adding extra dairy somehow and we have a dairy allergy to accommodate. Not one recipe has attempted to do with less dairy or to sub a plant based alternative. And she keeps making weird comments in the directions like “like the spatula is a pilot taking a plane just off course.”

This is the first place you get to make a decision. There have been lots of “add/deduct points” and such, but all without any decisions on the reader’s part. Now I get to choose between a path to the left and a path to the right. 🤨

Just finished book 2, Day Watch. Continuing to love experiencing another culture through all the little references; cities, regions, historical figures and ancestral groups, mythology, sports teams, cars, subway stations, and food.

7/18/22 Just finished book one Night Watch.

I picked up this book on a bisexual awareness end display at my local library during bisexual visibility week. I’m really disappointed in their ability to represent the situation. The book is an interesting and easy enough read so far, in my current state of mind, but from page one it is filled with suicide ideation. Also she is CLEARLY 100% lesbian at this point. Not bisexual unless a lot changes.
