Funny how Thalia was utterly useless in book one and now she can talk to more animals than just Faraway, make things fly, heal a mortal wound and somehow not get completely drained from using these powers that I didn't even know she had.

I hope this picks up. So far the most exciting thing that has happened were some vile burps and farts

Kuang just said that slavery was a white european people concept and I don't know if I can read a book that sells opinions as facts. The footnotes are irritating anyway, not as much as the annoyingly long preface about the changes between real Oxford and fictional Oxford in this book.
Maybe this one just isn't for me. Will think on this before I dnf it. Shame. I love languages and academia and magic.

Merritt is insufferable. Ar first it was Audrey I couldn't stand, but Merrit has yet to say one likeable thing.

I don't know what to think about this so far. Not mich has happened and the characters are kind of flat. The Setting is really cool though

tbh the most uncomfortable thing about this book is the sexual stuff. I'll take the clown over any of that any time

I adore the Losers Club and I'm in denial of what happens to them. They deserve live and be happy^^

I mean technically I understand what's going on, I've read this book about 10 times before, but damn my vocab list for this is getting super long

I'm so mad right now!!! Mostly because I have to go to work and can't finish the book until tonight, but also Dimple is being so mean!!
