Interesting hearing about the characters surrounding the early knights. (The early nights of the early knights?)

Maybe it’s the narrator, but I barely care about these characters. I definitely don’t care about how they eat their Captain Crunch cereal, and I’m still not fully sure what the plot of the book is.

Interesting how King is an actual character in this book. Rejections of himself have appeared in his other works, but I’d be terrified about trying to faithfully represent myself as a character.

Pretty good.

Just re-read (listened) to Brave New World and figured I should go back to trying to get to the end of the Dark Tower series.

Well researched as always. The protagonist’s journey does kind of feel like a well-run RPG campaign.

Interesting to see the source material that was adapted to other media.

Once we got past the stuff with Anne (having read many - if not all - of the prior Smiley stories, I am bringing lots of emotional detritus attached to that literary relationship with me), the plot has picked up.

Also, Toby Esterhase re-earns his place as one of my favorite characters.

Honestly, the lack of reference studies made it feel very anecdotal. At least so far.
