This is a dnf, not because of the book but because I am just too old and established to be the target. Will definitely pass this on so younger girls can use it's wisdom brought with humour

Going for now, but this might become a dnf... these people needed therapy way before the kid died (or a divorce) and let's not get the identical twin therapy after her sister dies. Ghosts or no ghosts, these people suck as parents (and holy self awareness batman, even mum is seeing it). She is bad but he is worse, and he does not deserve to have a family (having fantasies about hurting his wife to 'punish' her)

Did Dante's Inferno (need to do the other two still) now let's see what I think of this book that wants to incorporate it.. it was on my shelf so now it can go, either read or not

Need to watch the movie after this, they changed some things..also feel a scene I had just now on the water was used in the newest 'Rebirth' movie. Lot more time with the kids out in the parklands

I of course don't remember all the details, but I at least noticed a few changes. They swapped the kids around (Tim is the older one at 11), he gets to hold a baby Raptor in the labe, and Grant likes children

Switched from Inglis to Serkis, see if this works better for me (or if the story picks up enough for me to enjoy finishing it)

Was looking forward to this, but the intro already put me off a bit... but then I was hoping it would only be that part where they let him ramble on, but I just saw a review when entering this book here and seems the whole book is just bad. Sucks cause I was actually interested in the psychology of the subject. Will try one chapter of the actual, but probably a dnf (also already quite a few typos in there)

Unless absolutely impossible, I would have left him. He wants to lead, he can lead himself

So she was a bitch who didn't care about anyone, doesn't sound like someone to be proud of. Someone who never experiences love, who inflicts painat will because she has a need to prove herself

This is as far as I'm gonna come. For something that takes place in the 1990's the way these people act and speak keeps making me have to remind myself that this is true and it's not the first half or middle of the century

I know they are the main characters in this book, but both these people have serious makn character syndrome. Good that they are being called out on it. Although the brother is definitely a trophy husband and needs to tell his husband that they need him and not the money

Oh mijn god, James is zo'n zeikerd over zijn ouders. Jochie in mijn vorige boek deed dit ook, maar die was 13 en niet 30. Zijn vader houdt van zijn moeder, zoveel dat ie voor haar zorgt als het ontzettend slecht gaat, zoveel dat ie een 'mogelijke' carriere in de muziek heeft opgegeven (alsof dat een gegeven is van succes en totaal niet moeilijk). En dat James alles gescheiden houden 'moet'
