I can‘t deal with it anymore. Might just be me, but I hate MCs that don’t even consider basic options or think more than a second on important decisions, I mean, is that head just for show? Probably? And then there is that one annoying girl, that obviously falls head over heels for the MC and seems to lose half her brain in the process. Great, now you’ll have one whole brain for the two of you to share. Good luck.

Really not sure if I am going to finish this one - I already wanted to bash the MCs head in a few times for being too much of a wimp, like - „oh, they wanted to kill me? But I don’t wanna kill them! I’d rather let them go free to murder and enslave other people - that’s what a hero would do!“ Just like - this a bloody apocalypse and you know that there are people gunning for you, but you feel too squeamish? Just no.

Not book related per se, but ... I've been part of Goodreads since 2014 and last year was the first time I could finally put my real age on my profile. It actually feels really strange to see it there - but not having to "lie" anymore is kind of ... nice?
I love Goodreads, but I would have prefered had there not been any age-restrictions and I could have been "honest" from the beginning - well, just me rambling ^-^

I actually really do like the idea of the story, it's why I'm definitely finishing this book... however, the writing, meaning what I can only assume is a complete lack of a beta-reading, is not good at all. There are a lot of grammatical mistakes, he / she mixups and generally a very bad style.
Well ... we'll see how it goes...

And I don't have access to all of them anymore, cause the site where I saved them on is down, seemingly for good :,(

I have met between 30-50 people to this page and am still in the introduction ... how the hell should I keep all these names in mind? I can recall Echo, Shadow, Lyric and ... Shimmer ... Cuff ... and that was it, huh... I just hope I won't get lost throughout the next pages ;)

Ellery is so annoying. Until about 74% I really liked this book. Then the incedent happend and the love story seems to be beginning. My rating is dropping considerably if this continues. Sadly.

I'm not really happy at the moment... I loved the beginning but the next part was so unrealistic... :(

I really wasn't in the mood for a religious book, so I was cery sceptic in the first 7% or so, but I was really surprised. What I read until now was really good and though religion played a significant role, it isn't overwhelming. I reay love Joshua and Caleb, they are very realistic and even though there's only Joshuas POV, the emotions of both characters are beautifully portrait!
