Not sure if it's the prose and info dumps or because I hadn't read the previous books in over a year, but super bored and not a fan of the flowery narration and dry dialogue.

Read another chapter, but I think I'm leaving this unfinished for now. I don't actually remember all the characters at this point, and not super into the mystical Roman setting.

I forgot what reading erotic stories were like - we got a 3 page infodump to the world and setting and jumped straight into relationship drama, haha... not sure I'm in the mood for this right now.

I'm finding Lila to be extremely hard to stand with her bullheadedness when she know absolutely nothing about the aliens around her. I'm also in so much anxiety just waiting for the lying to backfire.

Taking a break. The slowly thickening plot (to the detriment of the MCs) is boiling me alive.

The dark part is mostly gratuitous violence at this part, following the SA in the very beginning. Getting a little bored about where the story is going an taking a break.

Been stalled here for a month at least since I'm not enjoying Soraya's personality or her supporting cast this re-read around.

Taking a break from the book - bored with all the political drama and men POVs. Not liking Melody's personality at all or the gratuitous violent torture.

Getting weird vibes with what's going to happen with Odin...
