I've been warned about this book...let's see if I can read it.

So far from this book I've gotten:
1. Boys are stupid, arrogant pricks who are selfish and have their own agendas
2. Girls are superior, smart, and can do better than boys
3. The rich are narrow minded fools who want to oppress the poor
4. The poor are victims of the rich's oppression

Yeah, I can tell I'm not going to like this book much. Just keep reading, Marie. It's for research!

Reading a chapter a day as part of my daily quiet time. Very good.

I don't know why but this one is dragging for me more. Maybe because there's a lot of battles and battle prep, and I'm not big on that kind of thing? 🤔 Really liked Falier's development though.

I really enjoy this book, but someone should tell the author we don't need so many minor characters names. Otherwise, I love it once I ignore the headache I get from trying to figure out who the minor characters are.

I feel like I'm either a) noticing more during this reread, or b) seeing parts that Candice added that make the story better.

So I started this for book club without realizing how long it is...I wonder if I will finish any other books this month....
