Trying to finish this dreadfully boring atory before the end of the year. DNF thoughts hover ever so slightly in the distance.

Ash is on page 100 of 623 of Iron Flame (The Empyrean, #2)

I was promised excitement but I'm on the brink of a DNF. Anticipation initially fueled my reading but the narrative has become bogged down by excessive regurgitation and a plot that falls flat. I am questioning the investment of my time considering there's 3 more books. As the flames of engagement flicker, the hope for a riveting tale begins to wane, and the decision to part looms.

Ash is 75% done with Daisy Jones & The Six

The chemistry between Daisy and Billie is undeniable, it jumps off the page. As much as I love Billie's love for Camilla, I love Daisy more she's irresistibly dangerous.

I'm confused about where Zea's mother and brothers are and what happened to Rice Wintergreen.

Why is Carmadon mentioned so much? A bit annoying, he is of no importance.

I started the year with some great reads, THE FORCE and WHERE THE CRAWDADS SING!

But now I find myself in a slump, please HELP!

Recommendations of anything that will completely suck me in, also I could use a bit of romance (non-cheesy kind), would be much appreciated:)
