Very devastating book, I was cocky for thinking I could nonchalantly listen to 16+ hours of inhumane atrocities at work and have it not affect me. Not done forever but holding off for now.

Okay the person who recommended this to me isn’t on her so I can say that the level of “I’m not like other girls” is so beyond excruciating. I don’t wanna be a bitch but why was I recommended a middle grade book. I have negative interest in reading about teens. And she is the MOST teen in the whole world. “Adorkable” should’ve been all I needed to see tbh

Technically reading at work makes the books free. If it’s $6.99 per book (digital obvi cause I do NOT have the library space) and I make ~$18 (not including tips) I can buy like, two books an hour on shift and break even. Not listening to any critiques of this logic btw
